Since 2004, this music festival has brought life to the heart of Brive-la-Gaillarde every July, just steps away from your Corrèze campsite. Renamed Brive Festival in 2012, this cultural event gathers regional artists alongside national stars. In 2018, the festival attracted more than 33,000 attendees. Festival Overview

Initially lasting one week, the festival offers a wide range of activities, including musical, sports, and popular events. Its duration was extended to two weeks in 2009. In 2011, the festival's musical programming was partly revamped. Organizers introduced a two-day inaugural weekend showcasing national and international artists on stage. While the variety of activities is vast, music remains the centerpiece of every Brive Festival edition.

The event serves as a platform for emerging talents to gain recognition. In 2010, the Corrèze General Council launched the Prix Corrèze to support them. Daily aperitif-concerts at 7 p.m. share the same mission, as does the "off" program created in 2018, which offers the public a chance to discover young talents and up-and-coming bands through more than forty free concerts in the city center from noon to 6 p.m.

Sports activities were also a significant part of Brive Festival until 2017, featuring daily tournaments in beach soccer, beach volleyball, sandball, and handball. Many renowned artists have graced the festival stages since its inception. In 2018, these included Vianney, Véronique Sanson, and Dadju; Francis Cabrel, Catherine Ringer, Niska, and Shaka Ponk were also part of that year’s lineup. In 2017, attendees enjoyed performances by Christophe Maé, M.Pokora, Zaho, Soprano, and Julien Doré; BlackM, Ofenbach, Camille, Arcadian, and Claudio Capéo were also on the bill that year. Other notable artists include Cœur de Pirate and Kendji Girac (2016), Fréro Delavega and Anna Chedid (2015), and Florent Marchet and Gaëtan Roussel (2014).
