Set on the edge of a majestic lake, the basaltic cliffs of Bort are a natural wonder. These towering columns feature two climbing areas: an initiation zone (caves) and larger routes under the viewpoint, reserved for experienced climbers. In total, there are 30 routes ranging from level 4 to 7a, offering something for everyone.

 

La Chapelle du Roc, Servières-le-Château (19.4 km from the campsite)

Easily accessible from Argentat, between Servières-le-Château and the Chastang dam, this site is best suited for intermediate to advanced climbers (35 routes rated from 4+ to 8a). The most experienced climbers will tackle granite routes ranging from 10 to 40 meters in length.

 

Saut du Saumon, Voutezac (81 km from the campsite)

Northwest of Brive, near the Saillant dam and at the gateway to the Vézère gorges, this site is perfect for beginners thanks to its initiation course. It offers 12 short routes (6-15 m) to help climbers improve their skills and build confidence before venturing to more challenging spots.

 

Pont de Sagne, Gros-Chastang (18 km from the campsite)

With its initiation route and 20 climbing paths ranging in difficulty from 4 to 6A, this spot caters to beginner and intermediate climbers. To reach this granite block, head toward Saint-Pardoux-la-Croisille from Gros-Chastang. Park near the bridge spanning the Doustre River and take the trail along the riverbank (left side).
