Bort-les-Orgues Dam Reservoir

The Bort-les-Orgues dam reservoir is the largest body of water in Corrèze, spanning an impressive 1,075 hectares! Swimming is supervised in July and August at the beaches of Aubazines and Val. You will also find water sports centers offering rentals of canoes, paddleboards, pedal boats, and motorboats, with or without a license. These facilities are open during the summer. At Val, a water-skiing school provides opportunities to try this thrilling activity, and the Val-Aventure park is a hit with fans of tree-top adventure courses. The Outreval water sports base also offers various activities from May to October. Adding to the lake’s charm is the Château de Val, one of Corrèze's most beautiful castles, which is well worth a visit.

Lac du Causse Corrézien at Lissac-sur-Couze

The Lac du Causse is one of the most stunning lakes in Corrèze. Its 84-hectare surface is ideal for windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, rowing, or pedal boating, with rentals available year-round. Nearby, you'll find a mountain biking center and a golf course. Swimming is supervised during the summer season from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Younger visitors can enjoy the many on-site games and activities.

Lac des Bariousses, Treignac

With its beautiful sandy beach along 99 hectares of water, the Lac des Bariousses is a must-visit in Corrèze. Swimming is supervised from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in July and August. The beach is accessible to people with reduced mobility, and special bathing chairs allow wheelchair users to enjoy the refreshing water. In summer, a leisure base offers numerous activities: mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and more. You’ll also find a mini-golf course, a restaurant, and sports fields. The Treign'Aqua Park, an 800-square-meter water park, is perfect for children. Trampolines, inverted ladders, catapults, a giant tower, slides, and obstacle mats will keep kids aged 6 and up entertained.

Triouzoune Lake, in Liginiac and Neuvic

Located between the towns of Neuvic and Liginiac, the 410-hectare Triouzoune Lake, with its beautiful beaches, is an ideal spot for a family day out. On the Liginiac side, swimming is supervised in the afternoons during July and August. On the Neuvic side, the beach is particularly wide and attractive, boasting the Handiplage label. Swimming is monitored from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm in summer. The area also offers playgrounds for children and water sports centers where you can rent canoes, kayaks, water skis, jet skis, pedal boats, or rowing boats.

Viam Lake

Located in the town of Viam, this stunning 189-hectare lake is a paradise for photographers and drone enthusiasts. You’ll fall in love with its wild beauty while exploring the lake by canoe or kayak. Swimming is supervised from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm between July 11 and August 22. From April to September, a leisure center offers activities like water skiing, archery, canoeing, mountain biking, and sailing. Hiking trails, both on foot and by water, wind through the surrounding area.
