An exceptional vacation
The 4-star Sea Green Le Gibanel campsite is located on the banks of one of the most beautiful rivers in France, the Dordogne, in a vast wooded and green domain of 60 hectares. The infrastructures of our premium outdoor establishment are based around a castle and a lake suitable for fishing and boating in a boat, a gabare or a motorboat (maximum power 6 HP).
Disconnect during your vacations at the campsite Le Gibanel in Corrèze : TV, Library are at your disposal on the spot. A grocery store on the campsite allows you to buy fresh products, favoring local producers, bread, pastries and basic necessities, without having to do all your shopping outside. At the castle, a bar allows you to enjoy cocktails and summer drinks, with a snack service in a historical environment, with an extraordinary view on the lake.
The access to the wild and preserved nature is direct, as well as the reservoir of the Dordogne at your feet and in immediate access, with its numerous possibilities of leisures and water sports: canoe, paddle…
Our 4-star infrastructure as well as our local facilities allow you to take advantage of multi-sports fields, a petanque court and ping-pong tables. Not to mention the beautiful heated swimming pool and its paddling pool for children, located between the lake and the Gibanel castle, with its two 13th century towers: you will enjoy a breathtaking view on both of them, depuis la piscine et vos transats sous vos parasols.

• Grocery store: bread and pastries, local vegetables, newspapers… (July-August)
• Restaurant and Takeaway: the bar and a takeaway service will be open in July and August
• Comfort and Services : washing machines, tumble dryers, an Internet point at the Reception and at the Bar, PMR sanitary facilities.
Finally, the proximity of the site, Argentat sur Dordogne (4 km), a tourist town of about 3000 inhabitants, will give you access to all the local services (supermarkets, cinema, restaurants) and to many other activities (market, salsa festival, fireworks…).
